Seven new entries out of ten. That's not a normal week — that's a reset.
Red Village came out of nowhere to take the #1 spot with Umbrella. This is an artist with six songs total on the platform. Six. And their debut chart appearance lands straight at the top. The soul and blues influences are unmistakable, and the Spotify numbers back it up.
Breaking Rust held #1 last week with Walk My Walk but got bumped to #2. Still a strong position, and they've got a second entry at #8 with Livin' on Borrowed Time. Two songs in the top 10, both in their second week. That's not luck — their blues-country sound has real staying power.
Ashes of Eden takes #3 with God, Save Me From Myself.. Rock is underrepresented on these charts so it stands out. The title is dramatic, sure, but the track earns it.
Bleeding Verse takes three spots at once
This is the real headline. Bleeding Verse landed Only When It's You at #4, Ashes In My Mouth at #5, and If You Loved Me Then at #6 — all new entries, all in the same week. They have 43 songs on the platform and clearly dropped a batch that hit. Three simultaneous top-10 entries is hard to pull off regardless of how many songs you release.
The holdovers
Aventhis drops two spots to #7 with Me vs Me (Fightin' Man Blues). Second week on the chart. The bluesy swagger keeps it competitive even against this wave of newcomers.
Xania Monet hangs on at #9 and #10 with How Was I Supposed to Know? and Let Go, Let God. Both slid a few spots. With 66 songs on the platform, Xania Monet has the catalog depth to keep placing — but surviving another week of new arrivals is going to be tough.
The full chart is at AiMCharts. Next week will tell us who's a one-hit entry and who's actually sticking around.
